Quick answer

Finish the Young Mistress tale before riding the elevator to the final boss, or you lose the boss's third phase, Fiend Saws and the Fist Fragment: Core. Do the first objectives of The Journey Home and Young Master Lan before entering Pangzhen, and take the Wild Oriole Sword from the dock after the fight.

Village of Lu rewards patience. The regional boss fight itself changes depending on what you did first, and the way back disappears behind you.

What to know before you start

  • Help the Wounded Thief early. The thief eventually dies as you progress, and the Arrowward accessory goes with them.
  • Finish Young Mistress before the elevator. It unlocks the boss's third phase and two rewards.
  • Grab the Wild Oriole Sword. It appears on the dock after the fight, and the elevator breaks once you leave.
