What this site is

PBZ Codex is an independent, fan-made guide to Phantom Blade Zero, the action game by S-GAME. It explains the game's story setting, wuxia vocabulary, characters and series history for English-speaking players.

Much of the best material about the game — developer articles, store text, interviews and player discussion — is in Chinese, or spread across interviews published years apart. We bring it together, match the Chinese and English names, and link every important claim back to where it came from.

What we cover

• Story & Lore — spoiler-free story starters, the Phantom World setting and how the game relates to the earlier Rainblood titles.
• Glossary — wuxia and game terms such as Jianghu, Wulin, Xiake and Phantom Edges, with their Chinese equivalents where official text confirms them.
• Characters & Weapons — names, factions and weapon types, added as sources confirm them.
• Guides — mechanics like New Game Plus and endings, published only once we can back them with clear evidence.

What we don't do

• We don't present guesses as facts. If something is unconfirmed, the page says so.
• We don't put story spoilers in pages marked spoiler-free.
• We don't copy other wikis or translate community articles wholesale.
