Quick answer

Seven of the 36 PS5 trophies are missable. The earliest deadline is leaving Weeping Creek Valley. The biggest is defeating Bai Chilian: the Outpost and Thieves' Camp turn hostile for good, and most Crimson Forest tales fail. Finish the first objectives of The Journey Home and Young Master Lan before entering Pangzhen.

On this page

Most players don't notice a tale has failed until hours later. This page lists every known deadline in the order you'll reach it, so you can check it before each big boss. Your ticks are saved in this browser and shared with the 100% tracker.

Boss names ahead

Deadlines have to name bosses, including Jing Ye, Bai Chilian and Mu Xiaokui. We don't describe the story around them.

The big one: Bai Chilian

Defeating Bai Chilian is the game's first true point of no return. According to Game8, citizens of the Outpost and Thieves' Camp become Maskless and turn hostile. You lose every interaction with them for the rest of the game, along with their tales and objectives. That's why so many deadlines below fall at this one fight.

How to stay safe

  1. Save by hand at the start and end of every region. Map Master recommends bell save slots so you can roll back if a tale fails.
  2. Open your journal before each regional boss and look for unfinished tales.
  3. Don't rush the elevator in Village of Lu until the Young Mistress tale is done.
  4. Back up before the Mandate Encampment Training Grounds boss if Secrets of the Baishan Sect is still open.

What if you already missed something?

New Game Plus resets quests, so it gives you another shot at anything you missed. See how NG+ works. Collectibles that aren't flagged here can usually be picked up later, because the game lets you back into free roam after the final boss.
